Münchner Vereinigung für Volkskunde e.V.
The MVV was founded in 1983 by graduates of the Institute for Volkskunde. At the beginning its major goal was the publication of PhD theses. Meanwhile, the MVV also supports the scientific and pedagogic work of the Institute for European Ethnology and Cultural Analysis. It also organizes events on disciplinary topics that complement the Institute's activities and are also interesting to non-students.
